BAKED MARBLE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE (Sya)

 
 
Nothing much happening today as I didn't even go out of the house the whole morning and afternoon. Had all the housework done in good time and even managed to get the lunch ready before hubby reached home. Am a good mama today...masuk bakul angkat sendiri...wakakakaka...But then, didn't do any new experiments today as I got caught up chatting online and on the phone with friends. It's because I wasn't able to be online for almost 2 weeks, so there's so many stories to catch up with. Did my fingers have a good excercise or what! Anyway guys...it's nice chatting with all of you....

21.50....and since my eyes can barely open now, I'll just cut short my grandmother stories and get on with the recipe for today.... cam rancangan masakan ler pulak dah bunyinya...wakakakaka...I've tried baking this cheesecake last Friday. Got the recipe from Sya's blog and not her fotopage. But you can click at the link on her fotopage to go to her blog. It just look so tempting the first time I laid eyes on her cheesecake that I just had to try it....one fine day...and that day finally came! I think I've used the wrong size cake tin to bake this cake in as it came out a bit too thin. But hey... as long as the taste is lovely, just forget the look huh...Thank you very much Sya for sharing with us this lovely and simple recipe. Here's the recipe if you care to give a go....



BAKED MARBLE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE

Ingredients :


250 g Philladelphia Cream Cheese
(I used homemade cream cheese I bought from a friend)
45 g flour
100 g sugar
(I added a tablespoon more because the homemade cream cheese is a bit sour)
2 tablespoons honey
200 ml fresh cream
2 eggs
2 tablespoons Strawberry Yogurt
(I put 100g Clover Strawberry yogurt)
juice of 1 lemon (I omit this)
red coloring

Method :

1. Beat cheese and sugar till light and fluffy.
2. Add in eggs, one at a time and continue beating.
3. Add in yogurt, lemon juice, honey and flour. Continue beating.
4. Finally, pour in the fresh cream and mix well.
5. Divide the mixture into 2 portions. One portion to be left plain and the other half, add the red coloring.
6. Take a scoop of the red mixture and drop it in the middle of the cake tin. Then a scoop of plain mixture on top of the red. Continue this procedure till all mixture is finished.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 C for 50 - 60 minutes.

Maybe terasa sedikit masam sebab Harni guna fresh berries tu..kotlah that contributes to the sourness of the cake. Terima kasih kerana sudi mencuba dan sudi beri feed back pada mama ye. 36. mama nz>> Semasa di Malawi dulu, mama gunakan fresh cream jenama Meadow Gold ke Meadow Land tah, lupa lak. Kat Malaysia, masih belum pernah guna fresh cream. Kalau ada pun ma gunakan yang re-pack, beli kat kedai bakery tu. Rasanya cannot change to yogurt sebab yogurt ni sourish where else the cream is sort of sweet and creamy.
