TOHRINA'S CHICKEN FOLDOVER

Our breakfast...
Tohrina Ihsan

The filling...
Tohrina's Chicken Foldover
Can't actually make up my mind what to make for breakfast today, so I did almost ALL of them, except the baked beans....hihihi.....So, these were what we had...

That day, when I browsed through Kuchai's fotopage, she showed the Beef Foldover that she had from McD. Then I remembered this similar food I've tasted before, made by Tohrina, Alia's daughter when they were still here. It was delicious and loved by the kids. I've asked Tohrina for the recipe and she willingly gave it to me. So, I'd like to share it with all of you....Thank you Tohrina for sharing with us this wonderful recipe.

TOHRINA'S CHICKEN FOLDOVER

Ingredients :

For the bread :

1 cup flour
1 tablespoon butter
(I used margarine)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Enough lukewarm water.

Method :
1. Rub butter/margarine into the flour till it forms like breadcrumbs.
2. Add salt to water and pour bit by bit into the dry ingredient. Knead till a soft dough is formed.
3. Divide into 4 small balls and cover with a cloth.
4. Set aside while you prepare the filling.
5. When the filling is ready, roll flat the small doughs to a thin round piece and place it on a medium hot pan without oil. Flip it over till done.
6. Remove from pan, and place the filling.
7. Ready to eat...enjoy!

For the filling :

Chicken fillets ~ sliced
Southern Fried Chicken coating (or you can just use the ready made KFC coating)
1 egg ~ lightly beaten
bread crumbs
A bit of water

Method :
1. Mix well the above ingredients (except chicken fillets) to form a bater.
2. Dip the chicken fillets into the bater and fry till golden brown. Set aside.

Other ingredients :
Lettuce ~ shredded
Cheese ~ grated
Fresh tomatoes ~ diced
Thousand Island sauce
Chillie Sauce
