Finally, on the 7th July, 2006, we reached our actual holiday destination ~ Nyika Plateu which is about 2,400 feet above sea level. So you can expect coldness up there, especially it's the peak of winter season. But we went prepared, in terms of clothing but not food. We weren't told that we can cook at the chalet plus we will have a helper in the chalet as well. Anyway, we've asked for halaal food so we just ate at the restaurant just for dinner. For breakfast and lunch, we just had whatever we brought along like crisp, bread, biscuits, tuna so on so forth...

When we reached our chalet ~ Chalet 3, after registering, we were welcomed by a deer whom my kids called "BAMBI". This cute fella was just lingering outside the chalet, nibbling at the grass...We felt so close to nature! The chalet was only provided with electricity from 6pm till 10pm. So no TV no nothing. But the kids weren't that bored as they were busy playing with fire at the fireplace and roasting marshmallows to be eaten with Marie Biscuits. Plus they brought their PSP and Nintendo DS with them. The best part was, everybody had to sleep early as there's nothing much to do! So mama had more than enough rest, which actually contributes to my L.A.Z.Y syndrome! But I'm recovering now...hehehe....

Okay, now it's the photos turn to do the story telling....but just about the chalet....The tour of the plateu stories and the photos, will be in my next entry...stay tuned....

EDORAS>>Tadi tanya hubby, dia kata USD120 per day. Kami naik atas dengan transport sendiri. I think diorang pun ada provide transport tapi garenti mahal punyalah. Sini harga fuel mahal sangat. Tak dapat tengok banyak sangat sebab maybe diorang pi tempat lain kot sebab winter, rumput banyak yang brown.
