APAM WARNA WARNI

Breakfast...
Kids' lunch...

The texture..
Apam Warna Warni
The reason for not updating this page for a couple of days is not because I ran out of recipes. Definately not because yesterday itself, I did 3 new experiments, 1 this morning and a few before...so I don't think I will run dry for another 5 days or so...I was just so busy since Friday. People in and out of the house fixing stuff and the phone was just ringing. And yesterday, Fatin's friend, Shehani was here till 6.30pm. She came back with Fatin from their Sports Day at St Andrews International Secondary School (SAINTS). Then at 6.30pm, we went to watch the play at SAINTS entitled Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a lovely play and we enjoyed it very much.

So for breakfast yesterday morning, we had fried rice (with green chillie) and Apam Warna Warni. I got this Apam Warna Warni recipe from where else but Forum Cari posted by 1mas2ra. Thank you very much 1mas2ra for posting the recipe in the forum for us to try. It is not time consuming, that's why I manage to do it for breakfast. Once out of the steamer, while waiting for me to fry the rice, hubby kept on eating. Seems like he enjoyed it very much and even the kids. I made just half the recipe and manage to get about 19 pieces. Will post the recipe at the end of this entry.

And for the kids lunch, I fried another version of fried rice. No particular recipe and no name to this rice as I just chuck in whatever I feel like chucking in. Surprisingly, the kids really enjoyed it, with salad.

And while the kids were eating, I experimented another two recipes, Apam aka Banana Chocolate Muffins from Kak Liza's page and Sweet Dough from Kak Noor's page. Both were nice and tasty. Will post the report to these experiments in my future entries.....tungguuuu......
