Chicken Curry
Roti Canai Mamak
I cooked just simple dishes for lunch....

Just in case somebody starts craving for roti canai when looking at my telur dadar....well, let me just share with you the latest version of roti canai that I experimented the same day I made Dolly's Choc-Kits. I printed out this recipe from Forum Cari quite sometime back. It's NoorMasri's recipe called ROTI CANAI MAMAK. We enjoyed it with my Chicken Curry. Yummy delicious.....thank you NoorMasri....



ROTI CANAI MAMAK

Ingredients :

3 cups flour
1 cup water
2 tablespoons condensed milk
1 level teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 tablespoon margarine

Method :
1. Mix water, milk, salt and egg.
2. Pour mixture into flour and knead for about 25 minutes or till smooth dough is formed.
3. Mould into small round balls and coat with margarine.
4. Keep in a container in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
5. Spread (tebar as we say it in Malay) each ball on a smooth surface to form a very thin layer. Fold the four sides into the middle and fry.

Note :
When preparing the dough, I used my usual way of making roti canai. Dissolve salt and milk in water. Mix flour, and egg. On the mixer and start pouring in the liquid bit by bit till a smooth and soft dough is formed.
