MULANJE, MALAWI

Last Labour Day, I was given sort of, a 3/4 day off....yippeee....hubby took us out for a ride. In the morning, like I've mentioned in my previous entry, we went to Nyala Park to pay our giraffe friends a visit. From there, we went back home for Zuhr namaaz then hit the road again. This time, heading towards Mulanje. I wanted to see the new road to Mulanje. The distance is shorter via this road compared to the old one. Hubby followed this road once when he went with the driver to the border of Mozambique. He said the road was nice but when we went that day, some maintainence were taking place. I think the road was damaged by the rain. So there are a few diversions that we have to take. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant ride with such breathtakingly beautiful scenery. We drove right up to the Mozambique border before turning back towards Blantyre....Most of the photos were taken while the car is moving. Wish I am an excellent photographer so that I can really show the EXACT BEAUTY of Malawi...but unfortunately I am not....anyway...I've done what I can......
