Yesterday evening, I sort of transformed my kitchen into a mini bakery. Made 3 kinds of breads...
    1. Polony Pizza ~ followed Nurul Anati's recipe for the base
    2. Cheese and Onion Buns ~ Roshayati's basic bread dough recipe
    3. Sausage Rolls ~ Roshayati's basic bread dough recipe




Since all the recipes for the above breads were posted before, so I won't paste it here again. Then I made tuiles from PuanSri's recipe to go with my successfully experimented Homemade Corn Icecream! Yes...you read right....ICECREAM...yummy yummy delicious! Kak Liza gave me this recipe when we were chatting on the messenger a few weeks back. This recipe originally came from Murni (RN) and posted by MakLang at Forum Cari.....THANKS A LOT MURNI and MAK LANG for this very easy to make recipe.



CORN ICE CREAM

Ingredients :

2 1/2 cups coffeemate
2 cups fresh milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tin creamy corn
a bit of yellow coloring ~ optional

Method :
1. Mix well coffeemate, fresh milk, sugar and stir till sugar dissolves.
2. Add in the creamy corn and mix well.
3. Pour into a plastic container and let it half set in the freezer.
4. Remove from the freezer and beat using a mixer (with the balloon whisk) until double the volume.
5. Pour into a plastic container and let it set fully.

Note :
1. Since I don't have creamy corn at that moment, I just blend some corn kernal with a bit of whipping cream. But I think, if you use the creamy corn, it'll taste much better.
2. I didn't put any coloring.


So...how do you find the recipe...very easy huh! And what's more, my icecream looks just like the one we get in the tubs eh...hahahaha...giving credits to my own product huh....huhuhuhuhu.....once in a while, it's permissible...hahahaha......It's just, I am so happy to be able to make my own icecream, without having to use any special equipment like the icecream maker!

Happy anniversary to Haleema and Solly. Made this cake for them, a few years back.....
