Ok ok...now let me get some facts straight okay....To answer Ezard's and Genny's questions... Firstly...we are definately NOT THE EMBASSADOR...[alamak, sorrylah Puan HE...not that I want to rampas kuasa....hehehe] because there's no Malaysian ambassay in Malawi. Our ambassay is in South Africa or Harare, Zimbabwe. Secondly, my hubby is working for a Malaysian company here. Thirdly, we don't really know when we have to go home for good. We're just waiting for the company to tell us to do so...And forthly, if in Malaysia, I can be one of the candidate for THE LAZIEST WOMEN OF THE DECADE AWARD! Hahaha....So I hope that will answer your questions as of now okay...

To answer Hellikonia's question, the balloon on the cake is made of ready made icing in the tube that my friend gave me from UK. So I just drew in onto the cake. The photo of the icing is as per attachment.

And Mar, thanks for coming to Dilla's rescue. In future, please everyone, just feel free to explain any questions asked in the comments on behalf of me. I'd be very grateful because I normally update the fotopages once a day...so it will take time. Thank you very much. Well, the vegetable fat or shortening, like Dilla said is white in color and looks like margarine. I got my stock from Malaysia from the baking stuff shops. Over here, they come with the brand Holsum. Normally can be found at the butter and margarine section, in the fridge...like what Mar said. Hope that helps!

I made Donut Suria at 5am this morning for the kids breakboxes. Gave them quite a bit so that they can enjoy them freely with their friends. And for lunch, I made Sambal Udang (Prawn Sambal) and Timun Masak Air (Cucumber Soup). Dinner...hubby gave us a treat at Nandos...Hubby had two quarter chicken hot, me ~ forever, strips and rice (hot), Fatin ~ cheeseburger meal (mild) and Syahmi ~ half chicken meal (mild). Everyone enjoyed their dinner very much.....


[Note : If anyone has the recipe of Nando's spice rice, pleeeesseeee give me!!!]


SAMBAL UDANG

Ingredients :

4 tablespoons cili paste
4 shallots ~ pounded
1 onion ~ sliced
2 tablespoons tamarind juice
1/2 cup fresh milk or coconut milk
salt to taste
zeal ~ optional
prawns
oil

Method :
1. Heat oil and add the chillie paste. Fry till fragrant.
2. Add in the pounded shallots. Stir well.
3. Add in the tamarind juice.
4. Put in the prawns, fresh milk or coconut milk, salt and zeal. Mix well.
5. Put in the sliced onion and remove from heat.


TIMUN MASAK AIR

Ingredients :

Cucumber ~ cut into cubes or sliced thickly
3 shallots ~ pounded
fresh red chillies ~ sliced
black pepper ~ crushed
dried anchovies (ikan bilis)
water
salt
zeal
a bit of oil

Method :
1. Heat oil. Add in the pounded shallots and sliced fresh red chillies. Fry till fragrant.
2. Add in the crushed blackpepper.
3. Add in anchovies.
4. Add water and let it boil.
5. Put in the cucumber and add salt and zeal to taste. Let it boil for a while and remove from heat.


Actually I thought of baking something today but ended up sweeping and mopping the house. Will keep the projects for tomorrow perhaps..quite a long list in mind...but lets see, what I ended making tomorrow huh....let's take one step at a time...huhuhu....
