My favourite cross stitch magazines
Done with my morning chores, and since there's still time before I start cooking for lunch, so here I am! This morning, as planned, I made for the kids Mini Hotdog Pizza for their breakboxes. I hope that's healthy enough in the eyes of the teachers. I made the pizza base beforehand, so it doesn't take long to prepare the topping and to bake them. I don't have an exact recipe for the toppings actually. So today... this is how I did it.

1/2 large onion ~ finely chopped
1 large tomato ~ chopped
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
a pinch of sugar
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Extra-virgin Olive oil

Enough hotdogs ~ slice
Cheddar cheese ~ grated
Mozarella cheese ~ grated

Method :

1. Heat a bit of extra-virgin olive oil. Add in garlic paste.
2. Add in chopped onion and fry till fragrant.
3. Add in chopped tomato and stir well.
4. Add in tomato sauce, sugar, salt and paprika.
5. Arrange the pre-baked pizza base on the tray. Spread a bit of tomato sauce on top and sprinkle a bit of grated cheddar cheese.
6. Put the cooked sauce on top, then the sliced hotdogs. Besides hotdogs, you may put whatever your heart desire, but my kids like it plain simple.
7. On top of the hotdogs, sprinkle more cheddar cheese and finally mozarella cheese.
8. Bake the pizzas in a pre-heated oven till cook. Won't take long because the base is already pre-baked, just to melt the cheese.

Kids just want to eat cereal for their breakfast. As for hubby, I prepared for him the Nasi Goreng Simple (Simple Fried Rice). Again, no particular recipe...just what I feel like putting into the wok! And in the mornings, everything has to be as simple as possible. And I'm thankful enough, hubby is not the fussy kind of a person. Lucky me huh! Alhamdulillah!

Whenever I have free time, I love to flip through my favourite magazines. Mainly cross stitch magazines, crafts magazines and family magazines. I just love to look through all the projects and ideas laid in those magazines. Feel like doing each and every one of them....Here are some of my favourite cross stitch magazines. Will snap the other magazines later. These cross stitch magazines are printed in UK. So I will only be able to get them whenever we go to South Africa or if there's anyone going there and are kind enough to get them for me. And last December, hubby has been so sweet as to let me subscribe 4 magazines so that I won't miss any issues after this. Thank you dear....... to go...time to report duty in the kitchen....chao.....
