I'm back! I have to thank all my loyal visitors for continuously visiting my page though it has not been updated for quite sometimes. Thank you thank you thank you. May God bless you all....

As usual, reason for not updating will be non other than I"M BUSY. And indeed this time it's a real excuse....mesti korang cakap... ate, sebelum ni, excuse mama ni tipu ke? Ahakss..... eh mana leh tipu, dosa tau... kelentong je kot... muahahaha... dak eh.... Last week, alhamdulillah I got quite a number of orders for cupcakes. I'm am quite surprised myself but at the same time, was so thrilled. I've never experienced this situation before. Normally I will get orders only once in a blue moon, but last week, 6 orders came in and I had to decline 2 orders as I don't have the individual casings in stock. Sorry dear ladies, insyaAllah I will stock up some individual casings for emergency cases like these. To some, 6 orders in a week is like nothing, but to me, it's a great thing! And these were the cuppies that I've produced....

On Friday we went back to Malacca....non stop activities until I am all drained out! Among them :

1. Trained the uncle whom we've hired to send and fetch abah from the Dialysis Centre.
2. Went to Keng Hin Bakery Supplies Shop
3. Went to 12 pharmacies hunting for my mom's prescribed medicine.
4. Went to Bandar Hilir market to get some fresh fishes and prawns.
5. Went to Tanjung Puteri to watch the fishing competition where we stayed there till 12.45 midnight with my eyes only quarter opened! Boy, did hubby really bully me this time! But then, I mustn't lie. I had a great time! Ahakss..... I'm beginning to love the sea....

On Sunday, we started our journey home earlier as my parents came along. Hand over my mom to my brother at Hentian Serdang and my brother brought her to see a specialist. I took abah home and let him settle down nicely. Meanwhile, I made some instant puff and fried some noodles. My sister arrived at 3 pm and my brother and family came with my mom at 5.30pm. My Aunt Sakinah and Uncle Mahadhar together with Ina's son came at past 6. It had been a long time since I last met them. Thanks Zaidah.... My house was like having a mini open house that day. It was lovely though I wasn't feeling very well... I do hope all my guests had a lovely time.....

So, is my excuse acceptable???

Recipe to share for today will be this Fried Prawns Fritters. And this recipe comes from my dearest mom. Best enjoyed while hot with Thai Sweet Chillie. Yummy yummy....



FRIED GERAGAU FRITTERS

Ingredients
:

250g geragau (small tiny prawns)
1 onion ~ diced or sliced
1 tablespoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
enough flour
enough water
salt to taste
oil for frying

Method :

1. Wash and drain the geragau and place in a bowl.
2. Add in onion, curry powder, baking powder, flour, salt and enough water. Batter must not be to watery and not too thick.
3. Heat oil in a wok. Drop a spoonful of batter into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
4. Remove from oil and place on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
5. Enjoy with Thai Sweet Chillie or any sauce to your liking.

Bahan-bahan
:

250g udang geragau
1 biji bawang besar ~ didadu atau dihiris
1 sudu besar serbuk rempah kari
1/4 sudu kecil serbuk penaik
tepung gandum secukupnya
air secukupnya
garam
minyak untuk menggoreng

Kaedah penyediaan :

1. Basuh udang geragau hingga bersih dan masukkan ke dalam mangkuk.
2. Campurkan bawang, serbuk rempah kari, serbuk penaik, tepung gandum, garam dan air secukupnya. Bancuhan mestilah tidak terlalu cair dan tidak terlalu pekat.
3. Panaskan minyak di dalam kuali. Sudukan 1 sudu besar bancuhan ke dalam minyak panas dan gorengkan hingga keperangan.
4. Angkat dari minyak dan toskan minyak. Letakkan di atas kitchen towel untuk menyerap minyak yang berlebihan.
5. Hidangkan bersama Sos cili Thai atau apa-apa sos yang anda suka.
