YONG TAU FOO (MamaFaMi)

 
What we did last Sunday?...
I guess I am just too used to waking up early on Sunday mornings, and the previous Sunday was not an exception. Since I was up early, I might as well prepare breakfast so that we don't have to go out. I just prepared Fried Kue Tiau. Well enjoyed by both of us....alhamdulillah....



Then hubby watched TV and I was beside him but infront of the laptop. After a while, hubby got restless and told me...let's go to Nilai and buy new curtain for the house's hall. I was actually lazy, but then, thinking of the ride to Nilai would be a nice theraphy for me (to divert my heartache for not being able to visit the kids), so we got ready and off we go... And as requested by Intan, this was the curtain we ended up buying...plus a few unlisted items...ahakss.....From there, we went to our friend's house and stayed there till late......



What we did last Monday dan today?
Nothing much...hubby went to work and I stayed at home doing....nothing much....ahakss....

Recipe to share, something that just popped up in my mind and since this is something that I made up on my own, so...TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Ahakssss......



MAMAFAMI'S YONG TAU FOO

Ingredients
:

1 tray of assorted tofu and vegetables stuffed with fish/crab paste (I bought mine from Tesco)
1/2 green onion ~ pounded
1 anchovies cube
enough water
a few dashes of sesame oil
a few dashes of white pepper
cooking oil

Method :

1. Heat oil in a pot. Add in the pounded green onion. Fry till fragrant.
2. Add in the anchovies cube. Stir well.
3. Pour in the water. Let it boil.
4. Add in the sesame oil and white pepper.
5. Finally, add the assorted tofu and stuffed vegetables into the soup.
6. Gently simmer for about 10 minutes.
7. Serve hot.

Pelbagai tofu dan sayur yang disumbat dengan isi ikan/ketam
1/2 biji bawang besar ~ ditumbuk
1 kiub ikan bilis
air secukupnya
sedikit minyak bijan
sedikit serbuk lada putih
minyak masak

Kaedah penyediaan :

1. Panaskan minyak di dalam periuk. Masukkan bawang yang telah ditumbuk. Tumis hingga naik bau.
2. Masukkan kuib ikan bilis dan kacau rata.
3. Tuangkan air dan biarkan mendidih.
4. Masukkan minyak bijan dan serbuk lada putih.
5. Akhir sekali masukkan tofu dan sayur-sayuran berisi ikan/ketam.
6. Renihkan selama 10 minit.
