NEPOLITAN CHOCOLATE CHIPS CUPCAKES

 
Busy as a bee, busy as can be...that's ME for the past few days. For the rest of you, last Friday maybe a relaxing day since it was a public holiday when our beloved country celebrated it's 50th Independence Day. But we, my hubby and me, were summoned by the kids to come and visit them, which is actually our greatest pleasure. We can't take them home for home visit as they are schooling on Saturdays. Anyway, they've just came back, so it should be alright.....ye ke tu mama??? Hehehe....kalau boleh, memang nak angkut diorang bawak balik punnnnn...tapi dah tak boleh, nak buek cam no!...Then on Sunday, again we were with them. Both of us just don't have the heart to say,"Sorry kids, we're not coming!". But next week, we won't be visiting them as they won't be in school from Friday till Sunday. They'll be going for some Kem Ibadah, insyaAllah....

Fatin had asked me to bake some muffins or cakes for Friday. But not on Sunday. Phewww....I was busy the whole of Saturday...washing, ironing, cooking, sweeping, mopping and a few other 'ing's....hahahaha....So for Friday, I baked something that I came across at Kak Mon's lovely blog. But I've made quite a lot of changes until it doesn't look like what Kak Mon had presented in her page.....Ya Ampun Kak Mon, telah ku godam resipi mu itew seenak rasa......Jangan Kak Mon kejar dengan penyapu sudah....ala Kassimmmmm....ahakssss.... And the feedback from Fatin & Co, the cake is lovely. I've tasted one myself, so did hubby. And I must say that the cake IS LOVELY....MEMANG MALATOPSSSS la Kak Mon..... Thank you so very much to Kak Mon for the lovely recipe!



NEPOLITAN CHOCOLATE CHIPS CUPCAKES
Adapted from : Kak Mon's Kek Cawan Sanang dan Nyaman

Ingredients :

5 nos eggs (Grade A)
170 g self raising flour
200 g castor sugar
1 teaspoon ovalette
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

250 g butter ~ melted
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
a few drops of red coloring
Chocolate chips (dust with a little flour)

Method :

1. Beat eggs, self raising flour, sugar, ovalette and vanilla essence till fluffy using the cake mixer.
2. Pour in the melted butter bit by bit and cut and fold the batter till well mixed.
3. Divide the batter into three bowls and mix the coloring. Leave one portion plain.
4. Spoon one tablespoon of plain mixture into the paper cups, followed by a tablespoon of pink mixture and then the brown mixture. Repeat until the cup is 3/4 filled.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 C for 20 minutes or till done.

Bahan-bahan
:

5 biji telur gred A
170g tepung naik sendiri
200g gula kastor
1 s.t ovallete
1 s.t esen vanilla

250 g mentega ~ dicairkan

Kaedah penyediaan :

Pukul semua bahan diatas hingga gebu. Masukkan 250g mentega cair perlahan-lahan, kaup dan balik-balikkan hingga sebati. Masukkan dalam kantung paip, dan paipkan kedalam mangkok kertas comel. Taburkan keju parut dan bakar dengan 190c selama 10minit. Hidangkan sementara panas

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen cell phone to text "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the pin number.

Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

The lesson :

Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....... And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru text messages, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet "family and friends" who text you.
