Chocolate Kit-Kat Cookies
When the mood is there to update the page, but the facility is not available, it just puts me off. And that's one of the reason of my absence. Anyway, time is another factor. How I miss the good old days....Anyway, life has to carry on and I have to take it as it comes....

For today's breakfast, these were what we had...but bear in mind, it's not cooked by me but available at the warung! Hahaha...mama is being lazy nowadays....

For lunch....again...from the warung....

Last Monday, I had a lovely surprise. A very good friend of mine, Kak Liza, sent me a parcel containing these following items and I loved each and every one of them....Thank you my dearest Kak Liza for sending me these gifts. I'll use them as regularly as possible...I hope...hehehe....

To prove it, I used the Digital Kitchen Scale to make this cookies. My parents said the cookies were nice. Ask comment...Anyway, here's the recipe if anyone care to give it a go...



100 g butter
50 g icing sugar
2 teaspoons castor sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
90 g flour
10 g cocoa powder
50 g cornflour
Enough Kit-Kat ~ cut into small pieces
Enough cooking chocolate ~ melted

Method :

1. Beat butter, sugar and icing sugar till creamy.
2. Add in vanilla essence.
3. Sift flour, cocoa powder and cornflour.
4. Add the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Mix well to form soft dough.
5. Roll to about 1/2" thick. Cut using cookie cutter of your choice.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20 - 25 minutes.
7. Leave to cool.
8. Pipe a bit of melted cooking chocolate onto the cookie and stick a piece of Kit Kat on top.
9. Drizzle with cooking chocolate and allow to set.
10. Keep in an air-tight container.



100 g mentega
50 g gula ising
2 sudu kecil gula kastor
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla
90 g tepung gandum
10 g serbuk koko
50 g tepung jagung
Coklat Kit-Kat ~ dipotong kecil
Coklat masakan ~ dicairkan

Kaedah penyediaan :

1. Krim mentega, gula kastor dan gula ising.
2. Masukkan esen vanilla.
3. Ayakkan tepung, serbuk koko dan tepung jagung.
4. Masukkan bahan kering ke dalam bancuhan mentega tadi sehingga doh yang lembut terbentuk.
5. Gelekkan doh setebal 1/2 inci. Potong menggunakan cookie cutter yang disukai.
6. Bakar selama 20 - 25 minit di dalam ketuhar yang telah dipanaskan terlebih dahulu pada suhu 180 C.
7. Keluarkan dari ketuhar dan biarkan sejuk.
8. Paipkan sedikit coklat masakan yang telah dicairkan di atas biskut tadi dan lekatkan sekeping kecil Kit-Kat di atasnya.
9. Paipkan coklat masakan di atas biskut yang telah dilekatkan dengan Kit-Kat tadi.
10. Simpan di dalam bekas kedap udara.
